directbeats.net ~ your music your way

At directbeats we believe that music should be free from plastic and vinyl, and how this should be done is a choice for the artist, not a record company executive - profit for the artists who make the music, and availability to everyone worldwide.

We will offer a number of options for artists to share their work, from completely free licences to the ability to accept set PayPal payments for individual songs or complete albums, and a similar donation system where buyers pay what they believe a particular work is worth.

We do not, however, support or endorse DRM in any way. This means all tracks available on directbeats will be completely DRM-free forever, so you only have to buy a track or an album once to be able to play it on every device you might ever own.

If it works for Radiohead, it can work for any artist.

As you may have noticed, directbeats.net is still under construction. After finally deciding on an interface we like, we are making every effort to get everything up and running as quickly as possible. So hang tight and we'll send out an email notice as soon as we're done.
